Agriturismo Bramasole - Farmhouse near Pisa

Bramasole e Ginestra is an organic family farm with "3 Spighe" (or Ears) - highest recognition of the Region Tuscany for farmhouses that offer accommodation facilities.

The farm is located on the hills of Montopoli in Val d’Arno, a medieval village in the province of Pisa. Equally distant from the most famous towns of the coast and the inland of Tuscany.

Since 1996, we offer our guests 3 wide holiday apartments of about 110 sqm. each, carefully furnished, with a large garden and in a friendly family atmosphere.

The farmhouse dates back to the eighteenth century: the farm estate Podere La Ginestra dates back to 1760, while the name Bramasole was only added in the late '800, further to the merge with another close farm and the consequent enlargement of the house.

The farmhouse, with its agricultural out-buildings and the ancient and still working wood-oven (late ‘700), is surrounded by olive trees, cypresses, acacia trees and mulberry trees.The farm extends for about 10 hectares and consists of some organic olive-yards, a wood and a plain down the valley.

I am a 45 y.o. art-history teacher in a high school of the area. Have a special knowledge of tuscan art, folklore and history. For our guests, I can organize guided visits to the most unusual and fascinating corners of our region.

All around the farmhouse, the wide park of about 6,000 sq.mt., is available to the guests and it also offers a barbecue, sitting areas in the shade, two big gazeboes, outdoor games for children.

We have one she-dog (Milù), four cats (Gina, Leone, Grigino, Stellina), two donkeys (Beppino and Giuditta), one sheep (Camilla), two goats (Ringo and Giorgina) and some other poultry, all of them definitively jolly, affectionate and friendly.
