Ferien auf dem Bauernhof -
Der Agriturismo Bramasole e Ginestra befindet sich im Zentrum
der Toskana, auf halbem Wege zwischen Pisa und Florenz, mit
einem wunderschönen Blick auf den mittelalterlichen Ort Montopoli
Val d'Arno. Er ist somit sehr zentral gelegen, um die wichtigsten
Kulturmetropolen der Toskana wie Siena, Volterra, Lucca und
San Gimignano zu erreichen. In etwa 20 Minuten erreicht man
zauberhafte landschaftliche Orte, reich an Kunstschätzen wie
San Miniato al Tedesco; in der gesamten Welt für den weißen
Trüffel berühmt, Vinci, der Geburtsort von Leonardo da Vinci,
Montelupo Fiorentino, berühmt für die Keramikkunst und
Sitz des Keramikmuseums; |

Empoli,
Artimino und die Villa Medicea la Ferdinanda, die Kartause
Certosa di Calci oder das beeindruckende "Jerusalem"
von San Vivaldo, wo zu Beginn des 16. Jahrhunderts die Franziskaner-Mönche
um ihr Kloster etwa 20 Kapellen errichteten mit der Absicht,
die Hauptorte der heiligen Stadt zu reproduzieren. |
| Das
gesamte Gebiet war bereits zu etruskischen Zeiten bevölkert;
in der Tat existierten die meisten, so genannten mittelalterlichen
Orte, bereits in der Antike. Deshalb ist es nicht schwer in
der gesamten Umgebung auf etruskische Grabkammern, Nekropolen
und Ausgrabungen zu stoßen. |

Die Terrassen Im charakteristischen mittelalterlichen Ort Montopoli
kann man u.a. die Pfarrei Pieve di Santo Stefano, Pian di Rocca
oder das Renaissance-Oratorium S. Maria del Soccorso besuchen
oder auf dem Pfad, der unterhalb der Stadtmauern entlangläuft,
auf historischen Spuren wandern. Noch heute wird in Montopoli
die Tradition der Kunstkeramik-Kunst erhalten. |

towards Pisa: the wonderful Certosa of Calci; the Lari Castle;
the ancient village Palaia and the now almost “ghosty”
village Toiano alle Brota, a surreal environment suspended over
clayey chasms (called calanchi), into the perhaps quietest hilly
countryside of Tuscany, from which one can see and easily reach
the city of Volterra. Other possible itineraries: along the
Via Francigena (on its way to San Gimignano), at about twenty
kilometers from our Agriturismo, we meet the extraordinary “Jerusalem” |

in San Vivaldo: immersed in a hilly wood, in the early
sixteenth century the Franciscan Friars built about twenty large
chapels all around their convent, together with a series of
large terracottas showing the most important sacred events,
with the intention of reproducing the main places of the Holy
City: a true jewel, from an urbanistic point of view as well
as from the Renaissance artistic one. |
Our territory
has been continuously inhabited since the Etruscan time: almost
all villages of the surrounding hills, which we consider medieval
ones, practically already existed in more ancient times and
it is not a rare event, therefore, to come to find Etruscan
tombs, small necropolis and archeological excavations accessible
for visiting.
Further opportunities (15 minutes by car): biking, riding, fishing,
golf, and tennis. We have a large park with Bowshot facilities,
ping-pong and bikes for rent.
